Meaning of brand name

“Lagimusim”is indonesian,so do you find this interesting?

We take the meaning of “Lagimusim”as “Now is the season”

in other words, “Let’s make the moment more joyful !”

It contains the desire to cherish the present, not the past or the future.

 

Why did we choose this name? 

 This is based on a true story.

when I was a dancer in my twenties.

I asked my shinia. “When will my season come?”

at that time he didn’t answer anything.

but a few years later he gave me a postcard with “Lagimusim”written it.

It was right time for us to start a brand.

and we liked the words and decided on the brand name.

The meaning of the words is  “Let’s make the moment more joyful !”

Later, I learnt that the nuances of the words are slightly different in Indonesia. 

 

 

Company history 

In 2010, Takeshi Higaki and Kana Muraki started their activities.

—2010

We begin “Lagimusim” as a private business.  

Started planning, manufacturing and wholesaling of miscellaneous goods.

we announced the HAPPA (leaf) series with natural leaves as accessories, and the following year, we have a track record of wholesale transactions with Weiss Weiss Co., Ltd., which has a store in Roppongi Midtown.

 

—2011

Announced the Ori series of accessories with origami motifs.

In the same year, the eco bag paani series made with colorful nylon fabric was announced.

By 2014, we have developed 30 wholesalers in Japan.

 

—2015

Sales of the paani series have begun to grow, and we have developed wholesale destinations such as souvenir shops at museums such as the Hakone Open-Air Museum and Kadokawa Musashino Museum, apparel stores such as BEAMS and UNITED ARROWS Co., Ltd., and general merchandise stores. Currently, there are 55 wholesalers throughout Japan.

 

—2015

The paani series alone sold more than 23,000 items.

Incorporated in September 2020 and established Lagim Co., Ltd.

In the same year, we developed and started selling collaboration products with the brand name Peach  Aviation Co., Ltd., a Japanese airline, and we are still selling them.

In July 2020, the number of sales on our EC site reached 1010/month, compared to 67 in the same month a year ago.

 

ー2016

Moved base from Tokyo to Yamanashi Prefecture

 

ー2019

Changed the brand logo. It changed from a raccoon dog's tail to a raccoon dog's eye pattern. The image of a fun raccoon dog is filled with the hope that people will never forget their sense of fun.

 Opened a store in Bright Spot Market in Jakarta, Indonesia

Established Indonesian corporation.
